Meet the Coaches

Head Coach: Jacob Wren
Jacob Wren begins his tenure as the new Head Coach of CCSC's boys basketball team.  With an emphasis on team discipline, he encourages his players to strive for excellence.  Coach Wren brings a passion for the game, and is equally passionate about supporting CCSC's mission which values academics ahead of basketball.  In addition, he believes the game of basketball provides his players with many learning opportunites to develop their character and teach life lessons which will serve them well in the classroom and off the court, as well.

Coach Wren began his basketball career as a sophomore on the Taunton High School boys’ varsity basketball team.  After graduation, he moved on to Curry College where he played center and power forward.  During his freshman year, his team won their school's first conference title in twenty years.  With his collegiate playing days behind him, Coach Wren has continued his involvement in the game of basketball with several different coaching stints.  He was the Head JV Basketball Coach at the Waring School, a clinician at a number of summer basketball camps and he also founded the AAU South Shore basketball club, which partners with Boys and Girls Club to help kids play competitive basketball.

Coach Wren is pleased to be a part of the dedicated team of faculty and staff at CCSC and looks forward to assisting the student athletes as they achieve their goals.
