Crosstown school beats Cougar teams

BRIGHTON, Mass. -- The CCSC girls’ basketball team fell short to MATCH 41-16 on Monday, Feb.12. The Lady Cougars lost dramatically to Match due to the lack of field goals made and because of a recorded zero assists. The team shot 29% from the field and they shot 40% from the free throw line. They were zero for four from the three point line.
Tanya Dymski had a game total of seven points and three steals. Rachel Jean-Louis scored a total three points.
The CCSC boys’ basketball team succumbed to MATCH after leading by 12 points on Monday, Feb. 12. The final score was 54-47.
The Cougars played a strong game shooting 47% from the field and 50% from the free throw line. Though they had a game total of 18 turnovers, the Cougars still played strong with 27 rebounds.
Bayoan Garcia scored 18 points and snagged three rebounds. Geo Moran scored 12 points and had an amazing nine rebounds. Jude Odige chipped in with nine points. The Cougars played an overall great game.
