CCSC Drowns South Shore

Girls and Boys records key victories

Jean-Louis hauled in 11 rebounds
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The CCSC girls’ basketball team played an amazing game against South Shore and won 27-11 on Friday, Feb.16.

Even though the Lady Cougars’ field goal percentage was low and their amount of turnovers was high, they still played a great game. They shot 50% from the free throw line and had a game total of 39 rebounds. They also had 17 assists and nine steals.

Tanya Dymski scored ten points, had three assists and two steals.  Nay-Nay Boyd-Haynes scored a game total of six points, had three rebounds and three steals. Rachel Jean-Louis corralled a game-high eleven rebounds and seven points.  Leah Jean-Louis had eight rebounds and contributed two points. The Lady Cougars played a great game.

The CCSC boys’ basketball team played a remarkable game against South Shore winning 55-25.

The Cougars shot 56% from the field and 60% from the free throw line.  Though they had a recorded 13 turnovers they stayed strong with 12 assists and 18 steals.  It was an outstanding game for the Cougars.

Bayoan Garcia had a game total of 12 points, four assists and five steals.  Geo Morgan had a game total of eight points, five rebounds, and three steals.   Jude Odige added 12 points to the scoreboard along with five rebounds. Michael Elysee supplied eight points and four steals.
