CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The CCSC girls’ basketball team earned a well deserved win over Academy of Pacific Rim on Friday night in overtime.  The final score was 29-27.

The Lady Cougars played very well with a game total of 22 steals and nine blocks. At the end of the first half the score was 13-11, and CCSC was trailing by only two.  The hosts had a total of 29 rebounds and only three turnovers.  At the end of regulation, the score was 25-25, and the game was forced into an extra period.

The CCSC boys’ basketball team also earned a win over Academy of Pacific Rim on Friday.  The final score was 50-48.

After the Cougars converted the first points of the game, they continued to play strong with a game total of 31 rebounds.  Despite a low assist to turnover rate, they still played an amazing game by making key plays throughout.

Jude Odige had a game total of 14 points and two rebounds.  Bayoan Garcia contributed 13 points to the game and three assists, the most on the team.  Both Chuck Tibbs and Wale Wright supplied seven points while Michael Elysee added five points to the board.
