Odige soared above the competition on Friday evening
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The CCSC boys basketball team led visiting Boston Collegiate (3-3) 30-21 at halftime and sealed its second win of the season with a solid win, 51-44.
In their last game before the holiday break, the Cougars shot 50% from the floor and recorded 13 steals and 12 blocked shots. Sophomore guard Jude Odige scored 17 points and shot 64% from the field, giving his team an early holiday gift while turning in his best shooting performance of the season. Meanwhile, freshman forward Geo Morgan had eight points, six rebounds, three steals, and seven blocks. Sophomores Michael Elysee and Chuck Tibbs tied for a team best seven boards.
CCSC is off until January 11 when the team travels to Foxboro Regional Charter and returns for a home game January 12 against Health Careers Academy.
