MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- The CCSC soccer team welcomed Advanced Math and Science Academy to the MCSAO on Tuesday evening with a 1-0 victory at its home field in Marlborough.  With the win, the Cougars remain undeated with two wins and one tie.

CCSC started slowly, but a late first half goal by junior Steven Rodenas was all the visitors needed to cement the win.  Classmate Carl Norgaisse found Rodenas from the sideline after the AMSA goalie made a mistake, giving Carl a nice assist and Rodenas the tap-in goal.

Again, CCSC had many chances to score more goals, but could not seal the deal.  Geo Morgan was stellar on defense and Sarah Joseph made some great plays.  Cougar goalie Aaron Velasquez recorded eight saves in the victory.
