The girls extended their winning streak to three on Saturday in the second of back-to-back days as the Lady Cougars trampled Phoenix Charter in their largest win of the season, 49-8. Consistent, tenacious defense and numerous fast breaks held Phoenix to three points in the 1st half, 23-3. Phoneix Charter, which started with only 6 players, had 2 players foul out before the final 4 minutes of the game and that enabled CCSC to stretch the lead even further playing 5 on 4 for the remainder of the second half. The Lady Cougars’ next game is versus Codman Academy on Wednesday, February 15th at 5:30 PM at the Perkins Community Center.

The Lady Cougars won the first of two games this weekend on Friday night defeating Foxboro Regional 28-22 on Friday night at MIT. After a week off, CCSC proved that they are in it for the long haul.
