Meet the Coaches

Head Coach: Will Connell

Coach Connell has been at the helm of CCSC’s varsity soccer program for the past three seasons. During his tenure, his teams have qualified for the playoffs each season, advancing to the semi-finals in 2008 and the quarterfinals in 2009 and 2010.
His commitment to holding his players to high academic standards has been equally impressive. He has undertaken the difficult work of holding his teams together and motivating them to perform at a high level each week with a sense of levity and style.

Mr. Connell has been teaching 10th grade humanities, United States history and literature 1, since joining the school in 2007. In his free time, Coach Connell enjoys running.  A few years ago, he completed his first marathon in Chicago.

Volunteer Assistant Coach: Megan Shutzer

This is Megan's first year as a volunteer assistant coach for our soccer team.  She was an assistant coach for our girls varsity basketball team two years ago.  In that role, she was a tremdous support to our head coach, while at the same time, she developed very strong relationships with our players which translated into improved play.  Megan brings those same positive qualities to our soccer team this year, in what promises to be an exciting season.
