CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The hits came quickly and the cheers were frequent as the Cougars roared to their first win in program history, 15-3, over Boston Collegiate on a gusty Monday afternoon at Danehy.
After CCSC held BC to one run in the first inning, the team didn't look back and went on to record ten hits in its second game of the season. Most of the damage was done in the pivotal third inning when six Cougars crossed the plate.
Junior Evelyn Jean-Louis and seventh grader Kiana Daley went two for two while six other Cougars supplied one hit. Lexi Sowards pitched a complete game with three strikeouts.
CCSC is off until Thursday, May 29 when it travels to BC's home field in Dorchester.
