The Lady Cougars had another fantastic win tonight against Salem - the final score was 13 to 7! Our girls literally bring joy to all of the fans' hearts. In fact, even the umpire even commented on it tonight. CCSC's overall season record now stands at 4 -1.
Athletics at CCSC
The mission of the Athletics Department at CCSC is to offer students opportunities to foster mental and physical development, encourage teamwork, enhance leadership skills, promote health and wellness, and place continued emphasis on community relations within and around the school. Varsity teams, clubs, and Wellness and Movement classes provide a variety of sports and activities that give every student an opportunity to engage in an environment that offers competition, collaboration, and the potential for confidence building, increased motivation, improved focus, and character development.
CCSC is a member of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization. The MCSAO provides opportunities for charter school student/athletes to compete at a high level and uses that competition to teach the fundamental values of teamwork, discipline, sacrifice and sportsmanship. CCSC’s soccer, basketball and baseball teams compete in the MCSAO.

On May 10th, at Gore Field our Lady Cougars defeatd Prospect Hill for the first time in our school's history. The win was a complete team effort marked by solid pitching and key hits. With this win the Lady Cougars improve their overall season record to 3 -1. Next up, CCSC travels to Salem Academy this Wednesday.
Yesterday afternoon, the Lady Cougars softball team defeated the Advanced Math and Science Academy with a staggering 8-1 win. Charde took the game ball for her outstanding defense at 2nd base. Alexa Cruz had 7 strike outs and a triple in the 4th inning. And the team as a whole commanded the field with their stellar defense allowing AMSA just 1 run. Our next home game is Monday @ Gore Field. Come cheer the Cougars on!
