The 2010 valedictorian, Leah Jean-Louis’s 5-year tenure at CCSC has been marked by academic success. She is a member of Crimson Academy, captain of the girls’ basketball team and recently completed her senior internship at Charles Massachusetts General Hospital under an accomplished surgeon. Her college acceptances include Tufts, Carnegie Mellon, and Mount Holyoke. This fall she will attend Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.

CCSC Basketball Kicks off the 09-10 Season
CCSC's basketball teams will hold their first games at home this Friday, December 11th at MIT. The girls will play at 7:30pm and the boys will start at 8:45, both against Foxboro Regional Charter School. Our new head coach, Alex Johnson, will lead the boys' team, and veteran coach Katie Reiser will be at the helm for the girls. Come out and support the Cougars!

Please join us for our Open House for Prospective Students on Tuesday, February 9th at 6:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to learn about CCSC and the high quality of education we offer. You will have a chance to hear about the many opportunities available to our students, meet CCSC staff, and ask questions.

Letters from Parents in Support of CCSC
The Massachusetts State Legislature recently debated an education reform bill that would increase the number of charter schools allowed to open across the State. In an effort to educate our legislators about the benefits of charter schools, the Mass. Charter School Association solicited letters from charter school parents. Many parents submitted letters on behalf of CCSC. We’ve posted some of these letters on our website.
