Principles of Science 1 (2009-2010)

Principles of Science 1 is the first half of CCSC's new, two-year integrated middle school science course. 

Students in Principles of Science 1 will learn about earth science (including mapping, history of the earth, and plate tectonics) and life science (including evolution, classification, reproduction, ecology and biomes, and the human body.)

Principles of Science 1 contains four units: Changes in Our World, The Diversity of the Natural World, Ecology and Biomes, and The Human Body.

Finish all of your research for the Organ Trail project!


Due Monday, 6/7:
  • WYLAW 36 (this will take longer than most WYLAWs, so don't save it for the last minute!)
  • Revisions

Due Friday, 6/4:

Homework 78 (the Unit Three Test is on Friday!)


Due Tuesday, 6/1 (Red) or Wednesday, 6/2 (Blue):
  • Revisions
  • Finish making flashcards and complete HW 76 (you can use the Study Guide answer key if you haven't finished making your flashcards yet)

Due Friday, 5/28:

Finish Homework 75, filling out HW 75a as you go along.


Due Thursday, 5/27:

Finish the first four pages of HW 75, the Unit Three Test Study Guide. Use HW 75a to code your answers.
