Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is an advanced math course intended to prepare students for Pre-Calculus. Students will master equations and inequalities; linear, quadratic, polynomial, and trigonometric functions; systems of equations; geometric functions; factoring; rational exponents and expressions; and basic probability and combinations.

The year-long Essential Question for Algebra 2 is, "How do mathematicians solve problems?"

Due Tuesday, 5/14:

You must bring your ALGEBRA 2 textbook back to Ms. Norris by today! You may give it to her or to your final exam proctor teacher.


Due Friday, 5/11:
  • Flashcard Log (HW 83).
  • Grade your practice test using the answer key.
  • Do at least 15 practice problems from textbooks or worksheets (focus on topics you got wrong on the answer key.)

Due Tuesday, 6/8:
  • Finish the entire study guide, along with additional problems using the flowchart.
  • Flashcard log

Due Monday, 6/7:

Finish the first 5 pages of the study guide, along with additional problems using the flowchart.


Due Friday, 6/4:

Do the first two pages of the Final Exam Study Guide.

  • Use the flowchart and do additional problems as necessary.
  • Do all of your work as described in the Studying Log.

Due Wednesday, 6/2:

Homework 81 worksheet: #1-45 odd
