Humanities 9a - Homework - 2010-2011
In ninth grade Humanities, we read novels and other texts that help us hone our reading, writing, and discussion skills. Historically, the course travels from the fall of Rome and the Dark Ages in Europe through the Age of Exploration and colonization on the American continent. We read novels, plays, poems, and short historical texts that complement our study of history during these periods. Through careful examination of four yearlong essential questions, we examine the ways in which power drives human behavior.
