Here are the assignments students have been given in Engineering.  They are organized by due date, with the most recent assignments listed first.

Due Tuesday, December 2:

On the web, find plans for how to build a deck.  Print them out or email them to Ms. Norris. Then draw three ideas for how to build a deck out of popsicle sticks.


Due Monday, December 1:

"The Case Against Sprawl" article and questions (this is being assigned on Monday, 11/24 to give you a full week to work on it.  It is very long -- do not wait until the last minute!)


Due Monday, November 24:

  • Read Chapter 10 of textbook, take notes, and answer questions #2-6, 8, 9 in detail.

Choose an object from home -- not a cube -- to draw orthographically, on graph paper.  The drawing must have all sides included and must have all sides aligned.

Read Chapter Four (Ms. Norris has provided you with a photocopy.)

  • Take Notes #4 on the vocab and definitions, making sure to copy diagrams showing examples of each type of drawing
  • Answer Questions 1-3 at the end of the chapter.

  • Week Two WYLAW
  • You must revise at least TWO pieces of work. You are only excused if you have already turned in all your revisions (and did not get them back), or if you got a 4 or 5 on every assignment.
  • If you did not complete the homework due Friday (see below), you must do so.  All seven steps of your Cell Phone Project Handout, and the cell phone holder and box, will be due Monday.
