Physics and Connections
"Contextualizing the World Around Us"

This will likely be one of the hardest science courses you will take in high school. This course will serve as an introduction to Physical Science and as a preparatory course for the Physics Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS). Over the year, through various homework assignments, laboratories, STANDARDS, exams, and projects, we will explore different topics in motion, energy, momentum, heat and heat transfer, electricity and magnetism, and wave theory. While the course will be difficult and demanding, every effort will be made to ensure that all students are successful in learning the science.

You can use this site to find all of the important documents and information for the course.  You need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to see these documents.

Summary This page will outline what is done in class everyday and will explain any homework.  If you are ever absent or forget what the homework is, check out this page page first.  You can also find any handouts given in class here.
Organization Here, you can find out exactly what needs to be in your notebook and in what order it should be in.  I will check notebooks daily and assign grades for Assignments, so be sure that your notebook is in order everyday, because you never know when I will be checking them.
Laboratories You can access all of the laboratories and major activities from this page, as well as important information such as due dates.
