Physics and Connections
"Contextualizing the World Around Us"
|
This will likely be one of the hardest science courses you will take in high school. This course will serve as an introduction to Physical Science and as a preparatory course for the Physics Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS). Over the year, through various homework assignments, laboratories, STANDARDS, exams, and projects, we will explore different topics in motion, energy, momentum, heat and heat transfer, electricity and magnetism, and wave theory. While the course will be difficult and demanding, every effort will be made to ensure that all students are successful in learning the science.
You can use this site to find all of the important documents and information for the course. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to see these documents.
