About Me

Will Connell is the 10th Grade Humanities teacher at CCSC. Born and raised in a small town in Vermont, Mr. Connell attended Skidmore College where he studied History and American Studies. After college, Mr. Connell took time to travel around the world, to see new things and to reflect upon his desire to teach young people. Mr. Connell moved to the Boston area to complete the Teacher Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he earned a masters degree. Before coming to CCSC, Mr. Connell taught Humanities in the Boston Public School System at an alternative high school in Roxbury. Mr. Connell made the transition to CCSC in search of a small learning community on the cutting edge of closing the achievement gap present in American education today. In addition to his responsibilities in the classroom here at CCSC, Mr. Connell has an advisory, is a member of the Outdoor Leadership Planning Team, and is the Head Coach of the Soccer Team.  In the summer, Mr. Connell works at Keewaydin Dunmore, a summer camp located in Central Vermont.
